Troop 6 troop Trips

Troop 6 has no shortage of trips to take scouts on. We go on trips every month, from a hiking trip up Mt. Monadnock to community service in Block Island. On every trip, we make sure to bring a healthy helping of both Scout Spirit and adventure!

While Troop 6 has a variety of different trips, there are a few that make an appearence every year.

Troop 6 Annual Trips include...

December: A weekend shooting bows and rifles at Camp Norse, where scouts can learn skills and have a great time.

February: New Hampshire skiing can't be beat! Enjoy the hospitality of a very generous church (which is only a short walk away from the world's largest candy counter) before taking on skiing trails of all levels, from bunny hills to deadly black diamonds.

June: Head over to Block Island! Explore the island while cycling, provide community service, and take advantage of an opportunity no other scout troop has; camping on the Block Island beaches.

July: Spend a whole week at Camp Yagoog. "A Scout Adventureland Forever", Yagoog provides merit badge classes to learn scouting skills, tons of trails to hike, aquatic activities at Yagoog Pond, and so much more. It's no wonder Yagoog's been around for over 100 years.
